• Charlottesville Music Teacher's Association : CMTA is a good resource for finding music teachers (I am a member). You can search by instrument and location.
• Charlottesville Piano Company : Quality new, refurbished, and high-end electric pianos are sold here. They offer rent-to-own payment options, discounts for students of CMTA members, and a buy-back policy for pianos purchased from them.
• Charlottesville Symphony : Events for children include Meet the Musician at the Virginia Discovery Museum, musical instrument "petting zoo" events at the Charlottesville City Market, and conduct the orchestra events on the Downtown Mall.
• Mosaic Children's Choir : Mosaic Children's Choir offers unique singing/movement/artistic experiences for children.
• Piano Safari : Reminder videos for songs learned by rote in lessons can be found here. Songs are listed in alphabetical order by title.
• UVA McIntire Department of Music : Many events are free for children (some for adults too!). Beautiful, historic Old Cabell Hall is located opposite the Rotunda on the UVA lawn.
