Charlottesville Symphony : Events for children include Meet the Musician at the Virginia Discovery Museum, musical instrument "petting zoo" events at the Charlottesville City Market, and conduct the orchestra events on the Downtown Mall.

UVA McIntire Department of Music : Many events are free for children (some for adults too!). Beautiful, historic Old Cabell Hall is located opposite the Rotunda on the UVA lawn.
